Epicurus Apollon

The temple of Epicurus Apollo is located in the Peloponnese, about three hours away from Athens. It is one of the most important and imposing temples of antiquity and is attributed to the architect Iktinos, who also built the Parthenon. This monument, one of the best preserved of classical antiquity was the first in Greece to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
